PEMBROKE — Cavan Bennage (first singles) and Cora Bennage (second singles) both won their matches in straight sets helping visiting Holley to the 4-1 victory over Pembroke Monday.

Cavan defeated Pembroke’s Riley Martin 6-1, 6-2 while Cora earned the 6-3, 6-3 victory over Indigo Fox,

The Hawks swept both doubles match as the team of James Tette and Mason Neale won 6-1, 6-0 at first doubles over Pembroke’s Lily Martin and Isla Czechowicz while teammates Kirsstin-Louisse Althoff and Ashanty Gonzalez picked up a point at second doubles.

Pembroke’s lone point came from Jonah Martin at third singles after beating Holley’s Jalen Tette 6-4, 6-3.

Holley is 1-0 while Pembroke is 0-1.

Livingston Conference


Justin Schwab defeated Evan Sidhu 6-0, 6-0 at first singles while Jason Mastin rolled to the 6-1, 6-1 victory over Nevan Good at second singles as Way-Co (1-0) blanked Pavilion (0-1) Monday.

Thomas Mead also won 6-0, 6-0 over Pavilion’s Justin Savidge at third singles for the Golden Eagles.

The first doubles team of Nathaniel Michielsen and Jake Joseph defeated Pavilion’s Cassandra Guile and Mark Jagodzinski 6-0, 6-2.

Monday’s Golf


Avon golf hosted Perry Monday at Farview Golf course as the Braves got the win over Perry.

Co-medalists were Perry’s Devin Royce and Avon’s Dylan Anderson, both with a 65.

Avon is 1-0 while Perry is 0-2.


Cal-Mum (207) swept Letchworth (236), Dansville (237) and Warsaw (Inc.) Monday at At Silver Lake CC.

Medalist honors went to Cal-Mum’s Tyler Koch who carded a 45.

Cal-Mum’s Aidan MacKay was second with a 49 followed by Letchworth’s Connor Till (52) and Bryce Helmer (52), Warsaw’s Donavan Martin (52) and Dansville’s Ryan Frazer (54).

Cal-Mum is 6-0 while Letchworth is 1-2.


Holley claimed their first victory of the season over Pembroke Monday, 180-184.

The rain and sloppy course conditions didn’t stagger match medalist Cameron Bates, who turned in the lowest score of the evening with a 9-over par 45.

Senior Andrew Drechsel also scored well for the Hawks.


In a match Monday at Le Roy CC, Livonia defeated Le Roy and Hornell.

Shawn Moribito led the Knights with a 44 followed by Adam Risewick (47), Zach Eschberger (48), Andrew Draper (49) and Jack Tonzi (49).
