DANSVILLE — Tyler Harris scored three goals while DJ Lamonte and Dawson Wadsworth each netted one as host Dansville whipped Greece Odyssey 5-2 in non-league boys soccer action Monday.
Harris scored two goals in the first half and one in the second.
His second half goal came off a PK with 15 minutes left in regulation.
Abram Barron dished out two assists while Jeff Birmingham and Zack Kreiley each had one assist.
Dansville keeper Collin Gray ended the match with six saves for the Mustangs (3-1-0).
Dansville will take on Cal-Mum Tuesday night in a battle of the two most improved teams in the area,
“Dansville continues to be feisty on their home turf,” Dansville coach Steve French said. “They won tonight in a great display of teamwork and finding the net. The goal of the night came with one second left on the clock and was scored by Dawson Wadsworth by a throw in by Zack Kreiley. The team gave the man of the match honors to the defense and Patrik Puffer.”
Avon 2, Le Roy 0
The still undefeated Braves (5-0) got goals from Hudson Volpe and Lee Hartke as they blanked Le Roy Monday.
Volpe scored unassisted while Hartke’s goal came off an assist from Evan Masten.
Avon keeper Christopher Kashorek posted an easy clean sheet with two saves.
LeRoy’s top player was identified as Maveric McKenzie, “who did a fine job setting up his teammates,” said Avon coach Tony Patti.
Hornell 2, Livonia 1
In what Livonia coach Jen Bugbee described as a “super physical game,” visiting Livonia fell to Hornell in LCAA D-I action Monday on the turf at Maple City Park.
Ireland Harrison scored both goals for Hornell, including the game winner with around eight minutes left in regulation.
Harrison and Livonia’s Kylie Buckley scored first half goals as the game was tied at 1-1 at the intermission.
Hornell keeper Alexis Patrick made four saves while Livonia’s Mary Kwak played very well between the posts with nine saves including a point-blank save in the second half.
“We didn’t give up, we worked until the end to keep the game as close as possible,” coach Bugbee said. “Olivia Feehan had an outstanding game on the field man marking (Harrison).”
Warsaw 1, Cal-Mum 0
Chloe Hubbard’s goal with just over a minute left in the first half was the game-winner as the Lady Tigers (4-2-0) got the LCAA D-II victory.
Warsaw keeper Hailey Degroff had seven saves in net for the clean sheet.
Cal-Mum’s Cal-Mum Madison Wyskiel had a tremendous game in net for the Lady Raiders with 15 saves.
Cal-Mum is 3-2-0.
Le Roy 2, Avon 0
Maura Dambra and Bella Condidorio both scored first half goals as Le Roy blanked Avon in LCAA D-II action.
Dambra’s goal came midway through the first half assisted by Brielle Kota.
Condidorio’s goal came with seven minutes left in the first half off an assist from Zoey Humphrey.
LeRoy keeper Katelyn Everett recorded five saves for the shutout.
Letchworth 1, Perry 0
Emily Perl’s goal six minutes in off an assist from Hana Gill helped Letchworth (2-2-0) get the LCAA victory.
Letchworth keeper Ella Belkota posted the shutout with 15 saves.
Perry is 0-5-0.
Mt. Morris 15, Rochester City School 1
Shaniese Brown, Alexis Roberts and Jaelynn Gagner scored two goals apiece as M-M cruised.
Anna Johnson added one goal and two assists while Sarina Johnson, Eliza Lonsberry, Gabrielle Pagano, Natalie Gaby, Jasmine Follett-Martez, Morgan Luick, Shayla Brown and Anna Lin all scored one goal.
Cadence Strout made two saves in net.
