Robert “Bob” D. Mallaber, 64, of Mount Morris, New York, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, at his home.
He was born the son of Kenneth and Palma (Edick) Mallaber on March 5, 1956, in Nunda, N.Y. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Keshequa High School in 1974. He married Nancy Crotty on May 31, 1975.
Prior to his retirement in 2018 he was employed as a mechanic at Seneca Foods in Leicester for 38 years. He attended the Trinity Church of Nunda. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors.
He is survived by his loving wife of more than 45 years, Nancy; two children, Jeannette Mallaber of Buffalo and Kenneth Mallaber of Hunt; two grandchildren, Kendra and Tyler Mallaber; four brothers, Eugene (Lois) Mallaber of Florida, Daniel (Sue) and Larry (Melodee) Mallaber. both of Nunda. and Michael (Wendy) Mallaber of Leicester; sister-in-law, Roberta Mallaber of South Carolina; many nieces, nephews and dear and loving friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, Bill.
No prior calling hours. Memorial services to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27 at the Trinity Church of Nunda, 25 East St., Nunda, N.Y. Interment in Oakland Cemetery.
