ONEONTA – Jennifer A. Bowman, 48, passed away suddenly at home on Jan. 22, 2023.

She was born Sept. 7, 1974, in Warsaw, the daughter of William C. Harcleroad Jr. and Ann C. (Smith) Harcleroad.

Jennifer grew up in Mount Morris and graduated from Mount Morris Central School.

She married Kenneth D. Bowman III in August 2003. They moved to Oneonta in 2008. Jennifer wrote poetry and enjoyed crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth D. Bowman III of Oneonta; daughter, Shyann Bowman of Oneonta; brothers, William Harcleroad of Oneonta and Thomas (Lourdes) Harcleroad of Mount Morris; sister, Mary Harcleroad Walker of Oneonta; niece, Maria Ramirez of Mount Morris; and great-niece, Victoria Harcleroad of Mount Morris.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Visitation was at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023, at Lewis, Hurley & Pietrobono Funeral Home, 51 Dietz St., Oneonta, where a memorial service followed at 2 p.m..
