The number of active COVID-19 cases in Livingston County had risen to 69 as of Friday, which brought the total number of active cases to 265 in the four-county GLOW region.
Livingston County data was not available at press time on Friday night so was not included in Friday's regional update.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Livingston County was at 4,062.
Livingston County also reported 12 recoveries on Friday, bringing its total to 3,949.
The number of active cases in Livingston County was up 13 from Thursday, according to the county’s COVID-19 tracking map.
Active cases include 24 in Geneseo (up three), 14 in Avon (up four), eight in Dansville (up one), three each in Caledonia and Livonia; two each in Leicester (up one), Lima, Mount Morris (down one), Nunda, Piffard (new), Springwater (up one), and a Wayland zip code in Livingston County (down one); and a single case in the Honeoye Falls zip code in Livingston County.
There have been no hospitalizations since Feb. 24, according to county health data.
The county has reported 44 COVID-19-related deaths, according to the county tracking map. New York state has logged 58 deaths in Livingston County.
Livingston County has administered 115,636 tests for COVID-19 among county residents. The results include 111,574 negative results, according to the county’s COVID-19 tracking map. The infection rate among those tested is 3.51 percent.
The county’s seven-day rolling average of positives was 1.2 percent.
SUNY Geneseo reported 12 active cases among its college community on Saturday, a decrease of 16 from Thursday. Thirty-seven students were in mandatory quarantine with no students in precautionary quarantine. Three students were isolating, all off campus.
With Livingston County data reported, the number of new active COVID-19 cases reported Friday in Genesee, Livingston, Orleans and Wyoming counties was at 62 compared with 44 new recoveries.
The 265 active cases in the GLOW region include 84 in Genesee County, which reported 15 new cases and 11 recoveries on Friday; 58 in Orleans County, with eight new cases and also eight new recoveries; and 54 in Wyoming County, which saw 14 new cases and 13 new recoveries. At least seven cases are hospitalized - five in Genesee County and two in Orleans County. Wyoming County has not released hospitalization data.
