Geneseo Police Department A photograph of a John Deere tractor that resembles a tractor reported stolen Sunday from Millennium Drive in the village. The tractor that was taken had turf tires on it, which are different tires from what is on the tractor in the picture.

GENESEO - A John Deere tractor reported missing, and possibly stolen, earlier this week has been located, said Geneseo Police Chief Eris Osganian.

"An individual familiar to the owner took it and there was a misunderstanding," Osganian said in an email to The Livingston County News.

GENESEO – The Geneseo Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with the theft of a John Deer tractor from Millennium Drive in the village.

The tractor is a 2005 John Deere 5220 tractor with an enclosed cab and bucket attached. The tractor has turf tires on it.

The tractor was last seen behind 4570 Millennium Drive in the village of Geneseo on May 1. The keys were left in the tractor, police said.

The VIN number for the tractor is LV5220P326194.
