Maria Smith was arrested Aug. 3 and charged with bail jumping in the second degree, a class E felony.

Michelle L. Boarder was arrested Aug. 5 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor, and other traffic violations.

Paul W. Schroeder was arrested Aug. 14 and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and other traffic violations.

Nicole C. Hendrickson was arrested Aug. 17 and charged with bail jumping in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Richard R. Stagles II was arrested Aug. 20 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor, and other traffic violations.

Sept. 1

Responded to the April Meadows Apartments for a welfare check from a 911 hang up call.

Responded to the Geneseo Heights Apartments for a tenant with a broken door knob that was unable to get out of the apartment.

Traveled to Herkimer, Herkimer County, to arrest Richard Stagels, 35, on a Livingston County Court arrest warrant for grand larceny.

Sept. 2

Stopped a vehicle on Lakeville Road from a traffic complaint/road rage incident that occurred outside the Village. Melvin Medina, 30, from East Rochester was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, and two separate counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree. It is alleged that Medina was in possession of a .223 rifle, a handgun, stun gun, and metal knuckles, without having proper authority to possess such items.

Livingston County Sheriff’s Office

Ryan T. Fraser, 40, of Leicester, was arrested Aug. 18 and charged with four counts of computer trespass. He was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to York Town Court Sept. 13.

Jesse L. McCarthy, 25, of Avon, was arrested Aug. 25 and charged with reckless endangerment in the second degree. McCarthy was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Avon Town Court Sept. 14.

Heather L. Dewert, 27, of Savona, Steuben County, was arrested Aug. 25 and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. She was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Geneseo Village Court Sept. 15.

Emily G. Monti, 32, of Brockport, was arrested Aug. 25 and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and obstruction of governmental administration. She was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Avon Town Court Sept. 14.

Aaron J. Reeves, 27, of Greece, was arrested Aug. 25 and charged with false personation and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree. He was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Avon Town Court Sept. 14.

Christopher Bitsas, 29, of Lydonville, Orleans County, was arrested Aug. 25 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree. He was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Geneseo Town Court Sept. 7.

Matthew R. Eckert, 29, of Rochester, was arrested Aug. 25 and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated. Following arraignment in the Livingston County Jail, Eckert was released on his own recognizance and is due to appear in Avon Town Court Sept. 14.

Louis A. Boyle, 42, of Avon, was arrested Aug. 26 and charged with aggravated harassment. Following arraignment in the Livingston County Jail, Boyle was released on his own recognizance and is due to appear in Livonia Town Court Sept. 7.

Batavia Police

A Piffard woman was arrested and charged with desecrating a cemetery, city police said. Police received a call about a woman acting suspiciously at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Aug. 17. Police arrived and found Cassandra F. Smith, 35, of Piffard. She was inside her car and an investigation revealed she had stolen numerous items from gravesites, including statues, planters and flags. She was charged with second-degree cemetery desecration. Anyone missing items from graves can contact cemetery staff.

Genesee County Sheriff’s Department

Richard A. Augugliaro, 53, of Mumford was charged with grand larceny in connection with the theft Aug. 15 of a wallet from a Conlon Road address. The contents included a debit card which was used by the suspect in a neighboring jurisdiction He is to appear Sept. 7 in Town Court.
