Geneseo Police

Feb. 9

Officers stopped a vehicle on Mount Morris Road and the driver, Kelly Flaitz, 61, of Conesus, was charged with driving while intoxicated, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, moving from lane unsafely, an equipment violation and refusal to take a breathalyzer test. After her arrest, Flaitz was transported to the Livingston County Jail.

Feb. 10

Officers responded to Millenium Drive and Veteran Drive for a vehicle that struck a pole.

Officers and members of the Geneseo Fire Department responded to Groveland Road for a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.

Feb. 11

Officers responded to Lakeville Road for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

Officers responded to Court Street for a loud party complaint.

Officers stopped a vehicle on Crossett Road and the driver, Julio Burgos, was charged with driving while intoxicated, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, operating without insurance and not using a turn signal.

Feb. 12

Officers responded to Wadsworth Street for the complaint of a party with no one wearing masks or social distancing.

Officers and members of the Geneseo Fire Department responded to Ryan Drive for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

Officers received a bench warrant for a violation of probation on Krista Bartlett, 37, of Mount Morris. This is the fifth time the Geneseo Police Department has received a warrant for Bartlett since 2018.

Officers and members of the Geneseo Fire Department responded to Lakeville Road for a four-vehicle motor vehicle accident with injuries.

Officers responded to Main Street for college-aged individuals in the bear fountain.

Feb. 13

Officers arrested Krista Bartlett, 37, of Mount Morris, on a bench warrant for violation of probation. The Mount Morris Police Department located Bartlett in Mount Morris and turned her over to the Geneseo Police Department. After her arrest, Bartlett was transported to the Livingston County Jail.

Livingston County Sheriff’s Office

Adam H. Vancise-Priest, 34, of Leicester, was arrested Feb. 5 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree. He was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Leicester Town Court March 10.

Matthew R. Hoyt, 22, of Conesus, was arrested Feb. 5 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree. He was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Conesus Town Court Feb. 24.

Benjamin G. Sherman, 24, of Livonia, was arrested Feb. 5 and charged with driving while intoxicated. Following arraignment in the Livingston County Jail, Sherman was released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in Avon Town Court Feb. 23.

Evan J. Philpot, 32, of Oswego, Oswego County, was arrested Feb. 5 and charged with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, He was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Mount Morris Village Court Feb. 24.

Kevin R. VanEpps, 41, of Honeoye Falls, was arrested Feb. 6 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree. He was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Lima Town Court March 15.

Michael J. Wixom, 57, of Livonia, was arrested Feb. 6 and charged with driving while intoxicated. Following arraignment in the Livingston County Jail, Wixom was released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in Livonia Town Court Feb. 16.

Brandon T. Beach, 21, of Piffard, was arrested Feb. 7 and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by drugs and driving while ability impaired by the combined influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Following arraignment in the Livingston County Jail, Beach was released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in York Town Court Feb. 22.

Melanie L. Clonick, 53, of Cohocton, Steuben County, was arrested Feb. 7 and charged with driving while ability impaired. She was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Avon Town Court Feb. 23.

Heather L. Philips, 28, of Livonia, was arrested Feb. 7 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree. She was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Livonia Town Court Feb. 16.

Ashley M. New, 35, of Arkport, Steuben County, was arrested Feb. 8 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree. She was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Groveland Town Court March 3.

Matthew M. Stepien, 30, of Olean, Cattaraugus County, was arrested Feb. 11 and charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree. He was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Geneseo Town Court Feb. 17.

Chelsea C. Wright, 26, of Hunt, was arrested Feb. 10 and charged with three counts of failure to giver sustenance to animals under New York’s Agriculture and Markets law. She was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Portage Town Court March 8.

Nicholas A. Willey, 30, of Groveland, was arrested Feb. 11 and charged with making a terroristic threat. Following arraignment in the Livingston County Jail, Willey was remanded on $15,000 partially secured bond. He is due to appear in Geneseo Town Court March 2.

Janet Harris, 63, of Conesus, was arrested Feb. 11 and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs. She was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Geneseo Town Court March 2.

Alexis A. Jersey, 29, of Hornell, Steuben County, was arrested Feb. 11 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. She was issued an appearance ticket, returnable to Avon Town Court Feb. 23.

Heather L. Dewert, 26, of Savona, Steuben County, was arrested Feb. 11 and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third and fifth degrees, criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree, unlawful possession of marijuana in the second degree and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree. Following arraignment in the Livingston County Jail, Dewert was released on her own recognizance. She is due to appear in Nunda Village Court March 9.
