In an effort to keep village residents abreast of what his department is doing, Geneseo Police Chief Eric Osganian will occasionally provide a list of calls his officers recently responded to. Village officers responded to the following calls from June 15 to 21. The report does not reflect all of the department’s activity during that time.

June 15

Geneseo Police and Geneseo Fire departments responded to Northview Drive for the smell of natural gas.

Responded to Center Street for a welfare check.

Responded to Lakeville Road for a welfare check.

Responded to North Street for a larceny investigation.

Responded to Court Street for a motor vehicle accident.

Responded to the Skybird Landing Apartments for a welfare check.

Responded to a business on Lakeville Road for a larceny investigation.

Responded to the April Meadows Apartments for a loud noise complaint.

Responded to Lima Road for a medical issue.

Responded to the Country Lane Apartments for a domestic. John Kamakaris, 43, from Geneseo, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

June 16

Responded to the Country Lane Apartments for a medical issue.

Responded to Main Street to assist an individual that lost her wallet.

Responded to Main Street for a possible criminal mischief complaint.

Responded to the Geneseo Heights Apartments for a report from a resident of a scam involving his social security number.

Responded to 600 Country Lane for a tenant issue.

Responded to the South Hill Apartments for a loud noise complaint.

Responded to the Highlands Apartments for a welfare check.

Responded to Lakeville Road for a burglar alarm.

Stopped a vehicle on Avon Road and the driver was charged with having a suspended license.

June 17

Responded to Main Street for suspicious activity.

Responded to Lakeville Road for a vehicle lockout.

Responded to Tuscarora Ave for a scheme to defraud complaint.

Responded to a business on Lakeville Road for a vehicle lockout

Responded to Avon Road for a motor vehicle accident, with the vehicle rolled on its side. Gilberto Rivera Ramos, 36, from Geneseo, was charged with aggravated unlicensed in the second degree, with eight suspensions.

Responded to the Walmart supercenter for the report of two children in a vehicle. Luis Morales Tirado, 29, from Mount Morris, and Dianne Milian, 27, from Mount Morris, were both charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Both children were less than 6 years old.

Responded to Highland Park for an animal complaint.

June 18

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Department located Kimberly White, 31, on a bench warrant signed by the Geneseo Village Court for petit larceny. White was turned over to the Geneseo Police Department and was transported to the centralized arraignment.

Responded to East South Street for a vehicle lockout.

Responded to the Walmart supercenter for a dog left in a motor vehicle.

Responded to Haley Avenue for a welfare check.
