Village officers responded to the following calls from Oct. 5 to 11. The report does not reflect all of the department’s activity during that time.

October 5

Responded to a business on Main Street for several fake licenses.

Responded to Prospect Street for a tree limb down near the sidewalk.

Received a report of a forgery occurring in the Village.

Responded to Key Bank for an alarm.

Responded to the Country Lane Apartments for a possible trespass.

October 6

Responded to the Oak Valley Inn for a medical issue.

Geneseo Police and Geneseo Fire responded to Avon Road for a fire alarm.

Responded to Tuscarora Avenue for a traffic issue of a dumpster in the roadway.

Responded to the Highlands Apartments for an arrest warrant. Gilberto Rivera Ramos, 36, from Geneseo was arrested on an arrest warrant for aggravated unlicensed operation and other vehicle and traffic violations.

Responded to Main Street for a larceny report.

Responded to the Municipal Lot for a disabled vehicle.

Charged Deborah Vallance, 61, from Warsaw for petit larceny. It is alleged that Vallance stole items from a store on Main Street.
