The Livingston County Department of Health has scheduled six COVID-19 vaccination clinics, including four mobile clinics.
A total of 278 vaccinations are available.
Drive-thru clinics are scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon May 4 and 11 at Livingston County’s Murray Hill Campus in Mount Morris. The clinics are first-dose clinics using the two-shot Moderna vaccination, which is available to anyone age 18 and older. T
here were 26 appointments remaining for the May 4 clinic as of Monday night, and 38 appointments available for May 11.
The drive-through clinics are being offered at 2 Murray Hill. Those attending the clinic should use the Grove Street entrance.
Mobile clinics are scheduled for:
n May 5, 1 to 2:30 p.m.: York Town Hall, 2668 Main St., York; 54 vaccinations available as of Monday night.
n May 11, 5:15 to 6:15 p.m.: Portage Town Hall, 2 North Church St., Hunt; 40 vaccinations available.
n May 12, 9 to 10 a.m.: West Sparta Town Hall, 8302 Kysorville-Byersville Rd., Dansville; 60 vaccinations available.
n May 12, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Sparta Town Hall, 8374 Sparta Center Rd., Dansville; 60 vaccinations available,
Those visiting a drive-thru clinic should:
n Arrive with only two people in one vehicle.
n Seat passenger in the back seat behind the driver. The vaccine will be administered through the open driver’s side window.
n Wear clothing that makes it possible to easily inject vaccine into the left shoulder muscle. Please have your coat or jacket off.
n Stay in your vehicle at all times during the drive-through event.
Masks are required for the duration of the visit at all vaccination clinics.
Participants should arrive on time, and be prepared to wait 15 to 30 minutes after the vaccination for observation.
Individuals are encouraged to register for a vaccination appointment, though walk-ins are also welcome.
The registration system sometimes has outages due to demand. If you’re not able to register try again later, health department officials said.
If you do not receive a confirmation screen and an email, your registration did not go through.
If a clinic is cancelled for any reason, those who have an appointment will get an email.
