Possible COVID exposure at Le Roy Moose Lodge and Flying J. Travel Center

BATAVIA — The Genesee County Health Department has issued a health alert after receiving a positive COVID-19 test from a person who was at Bourbon & Burger restaurant in Batavia.

The person was in the restaurant:

n Thursday, Nov. 5 between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

n Friday, Nov. 6 between 2 to 9 p.m.

n Saturday, Nov. 7 between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

n Monday, Nov. 9 between 4 to 8 p.m.

Contact tracing is in progress, Genesee County Health Department officials said. But unidentified individuals may have unknowingly been in contact with the positive case.

The Health Department is advising all people who were at Bourbon & Burger on the stated dates and times to monitor their symptoms for 14 days.

If symptoms of COVID-19 develop, they’re asked to primary care provider to seek testing immediately and self-isolate until receiving test results.

Symptoms of COVID-19 include but are not limited to: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.
