CALEDONIA – Democratic candidates for congressional and state offices are expected to attend a candidates night on Oct. 15 presented by the Caledonia Democratic Committee.

The event is scheduled from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at 2791 Graney Rd., Caledonia.

Candidates scheduled to appear include Nate McMurray, candidate for the 27th congressional district seat in the House of Representatives; ChaRon Sattler-LeBlanc, 133rd New York Assembly District; and Jason Klimek, 59th New York Senate District.

All three candidates are seeking to replace an incumbent. McMurray is challenging Rep. Chris Jacobs, R-Buffalo. Sattler-LeBlanc is running against Assemblywoman Marjorie Byrnes, R-Caledonia, while Klimek is against Patrick Gallivan, R-Elma.

Organizers are asking those who attend to wear face masks. The event will follow social distancing guidelines.

Organizers says anyone is welcome to attend, whether you’re liberal and conservative, if your mind is made up or not, if you have questions or just want to listen or just want to chat with the candidates.
