CHILI – A Caledonia man has died of injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash Monday evening on Scottsville-Chili Road.

Robert Keeley, 68, of Caledonia, was traveling southbound just after 5 p.m. Sept. 21 in the area of Scottsville-Chili road and Old Scottsville-Chili Road when his vehicle was struck head on by an oncoming vehicle, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver of the second vehicle was injured and in guarded condition at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, as of Tuesday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

An investigation is continuing.

No charges have been filed.

Scottsville-Chili Road was shut down in between Route 252 and Old Scottsville-Chili Road for several hours the evening of the crash.
