Former Genesee County residents Kay McDonald and Bill McDonald are performing their 11th "Home to Home Concert," but tonight's show again comes live from Harry and the Natives, a restaurant in Hobe Sound, Fla.
Bill and Kay, who perform as the duo Old Hippies, have been presenting a series of Saturday night performances from the living room of their Florida home. The concerts typically begin at 7 p.m.
Harry and the Natives is a favorite performing venue for the Old Hippies.
Bill said they are mixing up the concerts a little - some from their living room and others from venues that they are performing at.
"We are going to continue these and be incorporating the shows live from concert venues we are performing at," Bill McDonald said in an email. "The purpose is for all to enjoy."
Tonight's show has an earlier start, and is scheduled to go until around 9 p.m.

Singing, dancing and playing along at home is encouraged.
The performances are designed to connect folks who are unable to go out to concerts and other arts programs due to closures and limits on large gatherings as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With everyone at home and in the same situation, Bill said he didn’t want to talk about the situation or be political. They just wanted to invite people into their home and play some music, which is where the idea for the “Home to Home” concert series came from. It was the closest they could get to people coming out to one of their venues to listen to them play.
The livestreams happen on Bill McDonald’s Facebook page (Bill.McDonald.188). The Daily News has been sharing the livestream on its Facebook page.
