EAST BETHANY – Guided dog walks will be offered June 12 and July 10 at Genesee County Park and Forest, 11095 Bethany Center Rd.

The walks are scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. each day and offer a way to socialize and provide healthy exercise for both animal and human, organizers said.

Participants should meet at the Interpretive Nature Center.

Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Current license or proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination is required.

Aggressive dogs will not be allowed to participate.

Cost is $5 per dog with all proceeds going to the Genesee County Animal Shelter.

Masks must be worn by unvaccinated humans and whenever they are unable to maintain six feet of social distance. Participants are encouraged to wash their hands often or use hand sanitizer.
