Details for NOTICE TOWN OF ALBION EXTENSION TO STATE OF EMERGENCY

NOTICE TOWN OF ALBION EXTENSION TO STATE OF EMERGENCY As the Albion Town Supervisor, on March 23, 2020 I did declare a State of Emergency in the Town of Albion, County of Orleans, State of New York and did also extend same on April 22, 2020 and also on May 22, 2020. At those times, I found, among other things, that the COVID-19 crisis imperiled the public health and safety of both individuals and businesses in the Town of Albion. As of today's date, I continue to make these same findings concerning the COVID-19 crisis and therefore find it to be in the best interests of the Town of Albion to extend the State of Emergency for an additional thirty (30) day period. This extension to the State of Emergency shall remain in effect for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days commencing on June 20, 2020 at 9:00 p.m. and shall continue unless and until either rescinded or extended by me for an additional period not to exceed thirty (30) days. Any residents in need of special or emergency assistance are advised to contact 911. All residents are advised to monitor the Town of Albion website as well as local media reports for updates.
